Kevin Booth, MD – Spinal/Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Booth’s practice is in orthopedic spine surgery. His areas of expertise include complex spinal reconstructive procedures, scoliosis, revision surgery, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery, and minimally invasive spinal procedures. He has a broad background in both the care of non-operative and surgical spinal disorders in both adults and children.
He is presently the Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at the Northern California Spine Institute in Pleasanton, and has held positions as Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at The Permante Medical Group in Oakland, CA, and Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at the Associated Orthopedic Surgeons of Hayward in Castro Valley, CA.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He maintains an active research interest and has presented national papers at the Scoliosis Research Society, North American Spine Society, and the International Meeting of Advanced Spinal Techniques.

Dr. Booth has been in practice in the Bay Area since 1998. His personal interests include automobile mechanics and restoration, computers, snow skiing, golf, hiking, camping, photography, fresh & saltwater fishing, and scuba diving. He lives in the Tri-Valley area with his wife, Michelle Place, M.D., and their sons.
